While detachable Kerrison Rongeurs have been increasingly demanded, most IVD Rongeurs and Bayonet Rongeurs used in the OR`s still cannot be opened for efficient cleaning. Our new Spinal IVD and Laminectomy Rongeurs with a totally new detaching and cleaning concept meet the highest standard hygiene requirements for avoiding surgical site infections. While multiple-component instruments are usually difficult to process, our new detachable rongeurs ensure easy handling, efficient cleaning and effective sterilization at all times.
Minimally invasive spinal approaches have advanced considerably over the past decade, anticipating that patients will experience reduced postoperative pain, improved physiologic muscle function, and more acceptable cosmetic results. Whether a true percutaneous approach, through a tubular dilator retractor approach, or a muscle splitting approach is the method of choice, our special bayonet-shaped rongeurs with slim shafts will provide the surgeon with the visibility, the deep reach and the preferential instrument maneuverability required for the most advanced treatment techniques.
