Where are your instruments being manufactured?
Our premium instruments, etched with "Stainless Germany" or "Titanium Germany", are 100% Made in Germany and are
exclusively manufactured at our own factory in Tuttlingen from German raw materials or sourced from selected German vendors in the local Tuttlingen area, the world center of medical device technology.
This instrument program is complemented with special products such as sterile disposable products, perfusion accessories and electronic components or equipments, some of them sourced from USA, Japan, England,
Italy, Denmark and Switzerland. Low-cost instruments originating from low-wage countries are on principle not distributed by us. The price of German surgical instruments is high, but the value is higher!
How to distinguish between instruments made in Germany or Pakistan?
Most instruments state a Country of Origin for an instrument, but that does not always tell the whole story. One of the simplest tests, apart from quality and finish, could be price. If one supplier is charging 10 Euro and another supplier is charging 50 Euro for basically the same style of instrument, you need to really ask yourself if both of these items are really coming from Germany. Do you really know where your surgical instruments are made, and under what conditions? Insist on fair and ethical trade when sourcing your instruments!
