The new GEISTER HT and NT electrosurgical units series has been designed according to the latest electronic technology to provide you with a complete solution for all major surgical procedures, combined with maximum safety, reliability and simplicity. The units incorporate many safety features and functions which allow you to select and easily reproduce the working mode most suitable for your specific surgical needs. 

The high-technology HT series consists of 2 technically identical models: the ESU-A 400HT (max. 400W) and ESU-X 400HT (max. 400W). They only differ by the integrated Argon gas section in ESU-A 400HT. The new-technology NT series consists of 2 technically identical models: the ESU-X 300NT (max. 350W) and ESU-X 200NT (max. 200W). They only differ by their maximum output powers.

The top of the range model ESU-A 400HT comes with an integrated section for Argon Gas. The unit is otherwise identical to ESU-X 400HT and can be used for regular electrosurgery as well as Argon gas enhanced electrosurgery. The gas flow is adjustable from 1 to 15 lt/min and it is provided with automatic system of compensation according to the diameter of the electrodes used. The Argon section is provided with three safety systems against over pressure (pressure reducer on cylinder/ specific mechanical over pressure valve inside the unit/ pressure sensor connected to the electronic system of control with specific auto-check each time the Argon section is on) and the gas output is protected by means of a specific bacterial filter.

In order to eliminate bacterial/viral contamination, the  units can be used together with the electrosurgical smoke evacuator GEISTER XSMOKE™, equipped with suction functions and especially recommended for the laparoscopic procedures for ensuring a perfect view of the operating field.
