Optimal local stabilization, an unobstructed view, and a free field for operation are of utmost importance during off-pump surgery (OPCAB), in order to facilitate high-quality anastomoses. 

GEISTER offers you specialized instruments for beating heart bypass surgery. Our heart stabilizers allow the heart to beat while reducing movement only in the area where the surgeon is working. Reusable or disposable stabilizer platforms, available with or without suction support, can be used in combination with our strong flexible arm for complete coronary artery revascularization. 

Because of their special designs and metal bodies, our platforms provide you a high degree of local stabilization in the target area. With proper size, accommodating various anatomical conditions, they ensure atraumatic and even force distribution to the entire contact region of the ventricle and so also decrease mutual risk for ventricular perforation, especially of the posterior wall. Flat design ensures an unobstructed view and a free operation field , during coronary artery revascularization. 

For manipulation and for additional stabilization a special spring-loaded  suction cup can be added to the system optionally. It is possible to use all of them also on the retractors already existing in the hospital.
